Ask Fred

We understand that there is a popular website called Ask Jeeves, where any query about the outside world will be answered (with variable accuracy).

Regrettably, we are unable to offer such a comprehensive service.  Nevertheless, we welcome correspondence and are happy to provide advice and assistance where we can.

Anyone with queries  is kindly requested first to then browse through our site and then read the section Frequently Asked Questions, in case an answer already appears or has been dealt with in an article.

If your query is not dealt with then Ask Fred may provide an answer.  We do have a  system in development that may provide a better response than Ask Jeeves at the click of a button.  However, at present we deal with queries about the Second World War and our Association by e-mail.  Our limited resources and active social calendar do not permit detailed research or lengthy response.  But if you have a sensible question, Ask Fred may give you a straightforward answer.  All enquiries will be considered.
