Remembrance On the 11th November, two minutes silence is appropriate to mark the solemnity of national remembrance. At other times of the year, attitudes sometimes suggest that national remembrance is no longer much of a reference point for political or social conscience. In a world that changes with bewildering pace it is understandable that remembrance of the past is ever more distant and abstract to youngsters. Yet our firm belief is that there are universal aspects to the experience we had, which remain valid for your future. We hope you are able to spend two minutes looking at some of our thoughts.
